D2hs for special use only

by teiladay , Dec 13, 2005
Pros: Super fast frame rate 8fps & huge buffer even in RAW
Cons: only 4mp if you're wanting large prints.
The Bottom Line: This is a PROFESSIONAL camera for SPECIFIC professionals. This camera is for the sports, wedding, and internet shooter... people who need speed opposed to megapixels.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: We've been shooting Nikon digitals since 1997. I find the D2hs a wonderful camera. I would not purchase the D2H, due to the new D200. The D2hs I would currently still recommend for those shooters who need high speed focusing and really high frame...

Great camera for a great price

by mtmra70 , Jan 6, 2009
Pros: Fairly low price point, records 720p video, large preview screen.
Cons: No auto focus when recording video and live view photo shooting is slow.
The Bottom Line: This camera has plenty of the basics that are refreshed with the latest tech. Some say it is as good, if not better, than the D300.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I upgraded from my Nikon D70 to the D90 and let me tell you, I have no regrets. The second I started to play with this camera I fell in love. In addition to purchasing this camera, I also purchased a Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VRII lens, Nikon SB-900...

Best Allrounder?

by rogerngaw , Jun 5, 2009
Pros: Light, low noise, fast operations, HD video, price, compatible with most Nikon lenses, battery life.
Cons: Mediocre videos.
The Bottom Line: If you don't need a full frame body and find that the D300 is too heavy, the D90 is the perfect compromise. It will certainly deliver excellent results.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Photography is often about compromises. No one can honestly say which camera is the BEST there is out there. The best that one can do is to declare, based on his own requirements, which camera best suits him.

Bearing that in mind, let me...
