The Bottom Line: A great phone for those that need it.
This is an great phone for many needs wether they be browsing the internet or making sure you are on top of your emails. I enjoyed its reception and speed. If you are just using it for a normal everyday cell phone, I think it is a little to much because of the many features that it has that will go wasted, plus the extra money you would be putting in for the "BlackBerry Plan"...
I used my Pearl as my computer away from my computer because of its ability to remote into my work computer. That was a special application that I used, which is another great feature, so many different applications.
The phone did become expensive when I no longer had use for the many things that it could do and it just became my cell phone to txt my wife. My bill was around $90 a month on the most basic plan, so plan on that if you haven't already. There are cheaper plans, but just be aware.
This phone also has the ability to be a Broadband Router for your computer which is excellent for trips or just getting internet in any convient location.
I had some issues with the video on the phone though. It doesn't work right unless you have a mini SD card, which I recommend at least a 1 gig...
