Great Little Phone
Date of Review: Jun 2, 2008
The Bottom Line: Would recommend this phone to anyone looking to have a durable, easy to use phone with lots of features.
I've had this phone for almost two years now and have no plans to get a new phone. The clam shell design is important to me and the joint is very sturdy to prevent wear from multiple openings and closings. The phone as a whole is also very durable, it has been dropped many times and has never received so much as a scratch. It has a fair amount of memory space, but is expandable by adding a memory card. The camera quality is actually fairly good and in its highest image size produces printable photos. The phone is easily able to be attached to the computer with an included cable and files are dragged and dropped on to or off of the phone with ease. The Walkman feature is a nice touch as well. You can use it to play music in phone mode or you can set the phone to "Music" mode which is also able to be used on airplanes.
However, the phone does have a few downfalls. The screen quality is poor with most pictures appearing blurry. When the phone is used to play music, it saps the battery quickly. The keys on the number pad are smooth overlap each other which makes it easy to press the wrong key, thus making texting more difficult. The screen seems to attract fingerprints and oil. It has to be cleaned frequently unless you don't mind it being dirty.
Overall the benefits of the phone far outweigh the downfalls and I would recommend this phone to anyone.
