Product Description

Earth 2150 is the sequel to Earth 2140 the use of nuclear weapons have pushed the earth out of its normal circulation around the sun. Earth is coming closer and closer to the sun. The whole climate changes. The three "states" left on earth (and moon) try to conquer the areas on earth, which contain the resources necessary to build a huge spaceship to escape from earth. The game has quite good 3D engine with realistic weather effects like fog, rain, thunderstorms etc. It features a huge amount of units; some can "dig" tunnels through mountains so that your units can drive through it. The physics engine is nice, too: if there is a crater somewhere and it starts to rain, the crater slowly fills with water.... When the sun goes down and it gets dark, all units and buildings have lights on them, which are really necessary.

Cliches, Blocky Buildings & Units - All In Fabulous 3D!

Date of Review:  Oct 6, 2000
Review: Earth 2150 was one of those games which just kept me wondering. I would walk into my local computer game store and see it sitting there on the shelves, just aside from all the major sellers in the also-ran section.

Eye-catching screenshots...

Pros
Lovely landscapes and nice cinematics.
Cons
Horribly cliched plot, the same old RTS...

Great if you have graphics card.

Date of Review:  Mar 22, 2001
The Bottom Line: Overall: Get it if you like building bases and defending it well. OR... like to blow stuff up like a pyromaniac. Your choice... hehe
Review: This has to be the best RTS (Real Time Strategy) game so far. The pace of the game is quick so it keeps you on your toes. Always action to be dealt with, you dont know what is coming! Nice scenarios will keep you busy 2 or 3 months after you buy the...

Cons
Don't get it if you have low-end...

Don't buy...or else.....

Date of Review:  Aug 7, 2001
The Bottom Line: There is absolutely no reason to get this game. Instead go for the oldie Starcraft, perhaps the newb Emperor:Dune, or ANYthing else.
Review: "The 1st real 3-D RTS" is what the box said, and this was true. Apart from that, looks like a teenager spent some time in front of the computer programming on the weekend and had his little brother come up with the plot. Graphics and areas were...

Earth 2150 (BB)
In the year 2002 a space research corporation named LUNAR CORPORATION was founded. The company's goals, according to its brochure, were to introduce humans to the glories of space travel, to monopolize space exploration and, above all, the exploitation of space. During the crisis of 2012 - 2014, the Lunar Corporation absorbed the old NASA structure, inheriting all its patented space technology. In 2034 the company completed construction of the first city in orbit. They called it Orbital City 1. There followed a real stampede of company employees and their families to leave the political and economic chaos on Earth in favor of the safety and security of the newly built city.
