There's something about jewellery stores that I just can't resist. Constantly drawn to them, once inside, I become completely mesmerised by their immaculate glass cases. Showcasing spectacular displays of precious gemstones, metals and timepieces, these displays contain limitless meanings. Such prized pieces can symbolise eternal love, devotion, friendship, encouragement, accomplishment and more – values which have been attributed to the favourite pieces of Australian identities Alex Perry, Glenn Wheeler and Deborah Knight (page 46).
